Were at war and lots of my friends and colleagues of my Dad cant come flying - doing or being called up for service - I think we should still go and hope we don't encounter any rockets at our airfield - we fly somewhere between Tel Aviv and Haifa just a few km's away from the west bank. Well life has to go on anyway.

The question so many people ask is why this unique hobby and why such a following - the answer in a nut shell is that you get to see your hard work actually fly and the enormous pleasure and adrenalin rush from doing all the extreme maneuvers.
the time spent is relative because it is almost a complete concept, this is that you work at home which is therapy and you spend quality time on weekends flying your planes most of the time with your family.
my mom and dad is the perfect example as they allow me almost complete freedom related to the hobby and enormous support as well.

The Arava airshow takes place once a year in the souhern desert of Israel and brings pilots from Germany and Switzerland and Israel to make one of the biggest radio control airshows in the world. I gladly share some of the pic's with everybody
